The Laguna Beach Civic Arts District, also known as the “Village Entrance,” is surrounded by three major summer art festivals and is the terminus of Laguna Canyon Road as it transitions into the downtown village business district. BGB, Inc., in collaboration with Studio One Eleven, was the winner of a paid design competition for the Civic Arts District Master Plan.

Project design elements include a three-level parking stucture, restoration of the historic sewege treatment structure into a new visitor’s center, a linear “creek walk” park connecting the art festivals with the downtown village, enhancement of the existing Laguna Canyon Creek channel, and related public plazas.
